Should I delete our Facebook “friendship”?

Compared to some people, I’ve only got a handful of virtual friends on Facebook. However, it’s becoming increasing hard to take the onslaught of rubbish application requests from people that I never even see in real life.

If you were to suddenly slip off my ‘friends’ list, would you take offence? Would you even notice?

To be honest, I don’t care. I’m not one for pandering to hurt feelings over such trivialities.

I only ever wanted to use Facebook for keeping in touch with people that I already speak to. Maybe also keeping tabs on family.

However, I’m all for giving people the benefit of the doubt. After all, it’s not like I’ve gone out of my way to speak to you either.

Maybe you’re a lurker. Maybe you haven’t access to a PC 24/7. Maybe you just come here to look through other people’s photos.

So if you’re reading this and wondering if you’re going to get the chop, don’t worry. We all like to lurk and I’m not going to punish you for it.

So catch you later,
Chris.

Big people

Do big people automatically make friends with other big people?

Is it some unwritten rule that they don’t need anything in common, except for the fact they are big, to become friends.

Big girls seem to get on with big boys, but I’m not sure that 2 big girls can become new friends. It’s like there’s not room for both of them or something.

I think most big pairs of girls have been friends for a while. They are probably a bad influence on each other, sharing cakes and stuff.

Maybe I should take it as a compliment that I don’t have many big girl friends. Could it be that I’m not big enough to automatically become their friend?

There’s research that claims that there are “fat-genes”. Is this saying that the genes make the person fat from:

  • Craving food too much
  • Not being able to metabolise it properly
  • Not knowing when to stop
  • Not “feeling” like excercising
  • The excercise not being effective

Surely it’s just simple maths. (I dunno)

I do need to get more active now, but that’s not because I’m too big. It’s common sense to keep yourself going.

Anyway, genes or not. I’m sure people will find an excuse for it.
